The unique decor and vibrant atmosphere were a real highlight! Our group enjoyed a fabulous Bengali feast for dinner, it was like a culinary adventure, every bite packed with flavor.
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, it was worth it considering the experience.

Character that reflects the history of the area stands out, making the atmosphere feel authentic. The vintage decor in the King Suite with Balcony offers a unique, spacious experience that transports you to another time.
The room maintenance leaves much to be desired. I encountered cleanliness issues, and the bathroom felt particularly cramped and unkempt. Basic amenities like a telephone or coffee maker were absent, and the distance from popular shopping and sightseeing locations means you'll be spending a good amount of time on the road, especially with local cab availability being a challenge.

retro design, unique antiques, spacious public areas
The lack of an elevator is a real downside, especially for older guests!!! More accessible options would improve the overall experience. Also, reducing the number of stairs would make it easier to navigate the property comfortably!!!

The King Suite with Balcony was such a throwback with its vintage vibe. Super spacious and the decor felt like stepping back in time! I was impressed with how charming it was. The only downside was the noise from the street occasionally seeping in, but the overall comfort made up for it.

I loved the massive, comfy room and the delicious breakfast spread every morning. The chill atmosphere by the sun terrace was perfect for my family to unwind, while the evening live entertainment added a fun vibe. Just a heads-up, the wifi wasn't the strongest, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our trip! 😊

The stay featured a beautiful, large room that was both spacious and comfortable. The staff, particularly Ms. Keya at the front desk, were incredibly cordial and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious side dishes to complement our meals. However, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat unreliable, making it challenging to stay connected. Additionally, while the hotel ambiance was nice, occasional noise from nearby areas disrupted the peaceful experience at times.

An Oasis of Calm in Bustling Kolkata
My stay here felt like a delightful retreat from the chaotic streets of Kolkata. The spacious and artfully decorated room provided a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Indian charm, creating a serene atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The highlight was definitely the rooftop, where I could unwind in peace while soaking up the beautiful surroundings. However, it was a bit disappointing not to have daily cleaning service during my four-day visit.
